The New Foundation: ISO & Sopraboard
- Thick foam boards are laid down first. These act like a thermal blanket for the building.
- Sopraboard: This is a tough, mineral-fortified cover board placed over the foam. The Waterproofing: Double-Layer Colphene membrane.
- Base Ply Colphene 180: A smooth, rubberized sheet is applied over the Sopraboard. This is your primary waterproof seal.
- Top Ply Colphene 180 FR GR: A second layer is added on.
- The Details: ALSAN Liquid FlashingTraditional sheets are hard to bend around pipes, corners, or drains. This is where the liquid system comes in.
- ALSAN RS 273 & 762: These are high-performance, water-based liquid resins.
