Sopralene 180 Sanded over a concrete deck. Tapered Insulation system to ensure positive drainage. Sopraboard adhered with low rise foam and 2 plies over the top layer of insulation. Sopralene 180 PS3.0 bonded with ColplyEF and Sopralene Flam 180 FRGR Torched to the mid ply.
Challenges: Mobilization was challenging as the only area to mobilize was near the main entrance. A-1 Roofing worked very quickly and efficiently to minimize the use of staging area in front of the hospital. All material was loaded in two days to ensure crane was offsite as quickly as possible. A hoist was built on different areas of the roof to lower debris between the roof facets and then ultimately to the ground floor. Since the work was done in a hospital care was taken to install temporary filters on vents and other openings to ensure that odor and fumes from the materials used did not penetrate the hospital.
