the building was constructed using various decks, wood, concrete and lightweight concrete, meaning different systems were used across the project. Some roofs required densedeck while other required enhanced fastening/bonding spacing to ensure the assembly met south florida high velocity hurricane zone pressure requirements. In addition, the facility is a long-term care facility, therefore coordination of different sections where scheduled well in advance to limit disruptions.
