This project combined a lightweight sloped base with a heavy-duty waterproofing system for long-term protection against standing water. The crew will poured lightweight concrete over the deck to create a smooth slope toward the roof drains. Next, they will laid down a tough Soprema modified bitumen membrane to build a strong, flexible base. To seal all the tricky corners, walls, and pipes, they will apply Soprema Alsan RS liquid waterproofing, which cures into a continuous, seamless seal that sticks directly to the membrane and stops leaks dead in their tracks.
