This upcoming project combines a low-noise, high-strength drainage system with a reflective single-ply membrane for long-term weatherproofing. To eliminate standing water, tapered polyiso insulation will be glued down using OlyBond 500 adhesive, avoiding fasteners that penetrate the deck while eliminating thermal bridging. A TPO membrane will then be installed over the tapered insulation to create a seamless, highly reflective barrier against heat and leaks. To finish the wall transitions, custom metal stucco stop counterflashing will be secured along the perimeter to lock down the membrane edge and deliver a clean, watertight seal against the exterior walls.
