This commercial flat roof project combined a low-noise, high-strength insulation setup with a leak-proof single-ply membrane. Instead of using screws that puncture the roof deck, the team glued down polyiso insulation boards using OlyBond adhesive to maximize wind resistance and eliminate thermal bridging. A bright white GAF TPO membrane was adhered on top to reflect heat and seal out water. To wrap up the edges, custom stucco stop counterflashing was installed along the walls to lock down the membrane trim and create a clean, watertight seal against the building’s exterior.
